SAULT SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA

****************************
The Sault Symphony presents Cirque de la Symphonie

SAULT STE. MARIE - The 40th season of the Sault Symphony Association will begin on Saturday, September 29 with a classical concert that will incorporate stunning artistry, incredible gymnastic talent, and a little bit of magic in a special collaborative performance with Cirque de la Symphonie.

This event is an exciting adaptation of cirque-type performances widely seen in theaters and arenas everywhere.

Artists include the talented veterans of exceptional cirque programs throughout the world: aerial flyers, acrobats, contortionists, dancers, jugglers, balancers, strongmen, magicians, and more!

These artists specially choreograph their routines to classical masterpieces, to be performed live by the Sault Symphony Orchestra.

Featured music includes excerpts from Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake and Bizet’s Carmen, plus Saint-Saёns’ Dance Macabre, and Wagner’s Ride of the Valkyries, among many other instantly-recognizable classical pieces.

Tickets for this incredible, family-friendly event are on sale now at the Station Mall Box Office and online at www.kctc.ca; student and group rates are also available.

Held at the Kiwanis Community Theatre Centre, the performance will begin at 8 p.m.

The Sault Symphony Association is a non-profit organization, and has been providing the finest-quality orchestral concerts in the community since 1972.
