Based on the positive identification of the driver the search was called off.

On Friday September 21, 2012 the driver, 18-year-old Spencer Wright of Hawk Junction, Ontario turned himself into police custody.

The accused has been charged with the following Criminal Code offences:

How does a wallet left in a vehicle confirm identity? I could forget my wallet in someone's car, or have it stolen, automatically makes me guilty as the driver I guess...

Benefit of the doubt maybe? Most times, this isn't the first time a guy like this does something like that... and the OPP up there knows all the trouble makers... probably won't be very hard to pin him to the scene.
