alfonce 9/17/2012 6:02:55 PM Reportdid these young ladies ever think of taking down there plate number
iLash 9/17/2012 6:08:50 PM ReportIs the vehicle black or white sootday? Because in one sentence you say white vehicle, another sentence you say black vehicle. Creepy either way!
speed7 9/17/2012 6:35:31 PM ReportHoly crow! no one is safe any longer, I agree if you have a cell , should have taken a snapshot of the car plate. Everyone has a cell these days. I hope they get caught whomever these men are before something happpens. Very scary

two separate vehicles and incidents.
sweetc 9/17/2012 6:51:24 PM ReportIf you are a frightened young woman you will not even think to take down the licence number of the vehicle. Your number one thought will to get the hell out of there.
Also not everyone has a cell phone as the last poster noted. And it depends on the age of the young women in question Are they 15 or 25?
mudrunner 9/17/2012 9:29:29 PM ReportHow old are these young ladies?
mudrunner 9/17/2012 9:30:44 PM Reportits a white four-door smaller SUV.
farmergirl 9/17/2012 10:18:25 PM ReportIt clearly states TWO separate incidents. It is ridiculous to suggest that a teenage girl would have the presence of mind to take a picture of the licence plate! She was running as fast as she could in the opposite direction towards safety. A witness to the crime would have been capable of that rational thought. The victim would only have enough space in her mind to think of an exit strategy. Thankfully she did and I for one would not want her second guessing her decisions/actions. She is safely tucked into her own bed tonite because she was smart enough to fight and run. She is a very brave girl!
sweetc 9/17/2012 10:59:42 PM Reportbut someone always seems to find fault with what the victim did or didn't do.... Why? they are a VICTIM....
speed7 9/17/2012 11:16:15 PM ReportSorry farmer I didnt know the girl was bieng chased. That is scary. I agree someone witnessing it should have either called the police or take a snapshot. I hope they catch these men. That is my only real concern.
farmergirl 9/17/2012 11:56:41 PM ReportI apologize for sounding rude speed! That was not my intention. The story is quite vague as to what happened. He blocked her path with the vehicle so she was never at a vantage point to see the plate and would have had to put herself further in harm's way to do so. It is too bad no one passing by realized the situation was dangerous for her. It would not have appeared as such to morning commuters. Thankfully we did not have to find out just how dangerous it may have been.
anabanana 9/18/2012 1:55:19 AM ReportWas there a time reported, regarding these two seperate incidents?
speed7 9/18/2012 5:20:10 AM Reportno problem farmer
Lucky that there is alot of traffic on that corner. I wonder if she ran into the pawn shop on that corner to get help.
If this guy blocked her path... wow I am shocked and glad the girl is safe and sound.
Peter D. 9/18/2012 8:25:19 AM ReportSootoday left out the most important detail here. how old are these "Women". If a twenty year old man tries this with young girls, it's a crime. If the women were 18 or 19 it's called trying to pick someone up, and it's part of dating. Nothing wrong with a 20 year old man trying to pick up a 19 year old woman.
tonka 9/18/2012 9:31:19 AM ReportPeter D.
They weren't in a bar they were walking down the street, there are better ways to get a date. If they were scared, there is something wrong! Just very happy that they are safe!
Stevie-E 9/18/2012 11:50:46 AM Reporttonka,
There are better places than a bar to pick up girls as well. I remember the days I used to go cruisin on Queen/Bay, thinkin' we were cool, yelling at hot girls and trying to pick them up.
We don't know all the facts and unless the girls were like grade school age, it's hard to tell how old some of these girls are. A lot of them try to dress like Nicky Minaj or Rihanna. Can you blame a young dude for trying?
It may have been harmless, or these guys really could be creeps. The girls were obviously scared so I would go with the latter, but until age is brought into the conversation, I am taking all of this with a grain of salt.
mudrunner 9/19/2012 9:12:55 AM Reporttonka, If thats how you think trying to pick a girl up for a date is done you have some issues you need to get looked at.
