NEWS RELEASE
HABITAT FOR HUMANITY
SAULT STE. MARIE & AREA
****************************
Habitat for Humanity Sault Ste. Marie and Area is seeking donations of gently used, CSA approved safety boots for our current build
SAULT STE. MARIE - Habitat for Humanity Sault Ste. Marie and Area is set to begin construction on build number 7.
We rely on volunteer labour for the construction of each home.
Volunteers must wear CSA approved safety boots on the build site, and this can be an obstacle to participation for many.
We are asking the public for donations of gently used safety footwear in every size, men’s and women’s.
Thank you in advance for supporting the work of Habitat for Humanity Sault Ste Marie and Area- together we can build a stronger community!
Habitat for Humanity Sault Ste Marie and Area is an independent, non-profit housing program dedicated to building affordable homes in partnership with families.
Homeowners contribute Sweat Equity volunteer hours, repaying a long term, interest free mortgage.
HFHSSMA has broken ground on our seventh home in Sault Ste Marie.
These builds were possible with the generous support of many individuals, groups and businesses within the community.
