Diamond Jubilee event for Huron Shores late this month

MUNICIPALITY OF HURON SHORES

The Municipality of Huron Shores, as part of the 2012 Diamond Jubilee Celebrations of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, invites all Huron Shores residents to attend a Saturday, September 29, 4 p.m. public dedication ceremony to name the recreation bridge (located next to the Iron Bridge Cenotaph) as “Veterans Bridge.”

In addition, residents are also invited to attend a Community Dance, beginning at 8 p.m. at the Iron Bridge Lions Hall, 10 Clarissa Street.

Local band “Jukebox” will provide the music.

The municipality gratefully acknowledges funding from Canadian Heritage 2012 Diamond Jubilee Community Celebrations grant.
