Three motor vehicle collisions involving animals
No injuries
SAULT STE. MARIE, ON – Three motor vehicle collisions involving deer were reported over the weekend.
Two occurred on Highway 17 East and one on Highway 17 North between 4 p.m. and 9 p.m.
No injuries to any occupants were reported.
The vehicles received minor damage and were not towed.
OPP remind drivers that with fall approaching, wildlife will be on the move due to the mating season.
Slow down and drive cautiously through areas identified as high risk by wildlife crossing signs.
