NEWS RELEASE

ALGOMA FAMILY SERVICES

*************************
Algoma Family Services’ Creating Connections Group is a 10-week group program for children who have been exposed to and impacted by domestic violence provided with a concurrent group for mothers.

This group provides an opportunity for children to meet with other children and know that they are not alone.

The mothers’ group runs at the same time as the children's group and is designed to help mothers support their children through this group process.

Fall groups are scheduled to begin the last week of September/first week of October for children ages 4 to 15 and their mothers.

Groups are run after school hours with transportation, childcare monies and dinner provided.

For more information about this group program or to register, please contact Chera at 705-945-5050, ext. 2708.
