The ninth of 12 draws for 2012 for the Sault North Rotary Club was held Wednesday, September 5 at Algoma’s Water Tower Inn.
On the first Wednesday of each month, there is a draw for a trip for two as well as two secondary prizes of $150 each.
After each prize is won, the name goes back into the drum.
Today was a lucky day for Joe Churcher, ticket #406, who won a New England Summer and Fall Foliage eight-day tour, which includes return airfare on Delta Airlines to Boston, airport transfers, accommodation, visits to Plymouth Rock, Martha’s Vineyard, Rhode Island, Norman Rockwell Museum and Portland Maine, plus more.
Proceeds from this event will be used to help Youth focused projects such as Send a Kid to Camp, Big Brothers and Big Sisters, and our newest project supports a “Breakfast for Kids” program.
Sault North Rotary supports the Youth Leadership Conference held annually and the Youth Exchange program.
