Chapleau male faces multiple charges
CHAPLEAU - On September 1, 2012 at 2:34 a.m. the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Superior East Chapleau Detachment observed a 2005 Ford F-150 pickup west bound on Pine Street in Chapleau with no headlights activated.
The vehicle was stopped and after further investigation the driver and lone occupant, 19-year-old Kyle Paquette of Chapleau, Ontario was arrested for impaired driving.
The accused was subsequently charged with the following Criminal Code and Highway Traffic Act offences:
- Impaired operation of a motor vehicle
- Exceed 80 milligrams of blood/alcohol content
- Drive disqualified
- Breach of probation (x3)
- Take motor vehicle without consent
- Drive while under suspension
He will appear in Chapleau Court on September 19, 2012 to answer to these charges.
