UNITED WAY OF SAULT STE. MARIE

United Way introduces 2012 campaign cabinet leadership

The board of directors, United Way Sault Ste. Marie and district, are pleased to introduce Jodi Nastor, chair of the 2012 Annual United Way Campaign.

 The 2012 Campaign will kick-off September 7, 2012, and run until December 14, 2012.

Jodi Nastor was raised in Thunder Bay and moved to Sault Ste. Marie in 2005.

Jodi is presently a financial planner with RBC, Second Line Branch in Sault Ste. Marie, a position that is the perfect fit for her personality and love of helping others.

In 2012 RBC awarded Jodi the Regional Presidents Community Leadership Award as they recognized she demonstrates outstanding volunteerism and community contribution.

Since the age of 13, Jodi has been a volunteer; from assisting in Seniors Homes and canvassing door-to-door to becoming a member of many charity boards over the years.

Jodi is presently a board member of the Sault Ste. Marie Canadian Mental Health Association and after working with the Sault Ste. Marie United Way cabinet in various positions she has accepted the position of chair.

When she does have time to lend a hand at different events, Jodi helps out with the Alzheimer’s Society and most recently Habitat for Humanity.

Jodi graduated from Confederation College with a marketing and business diploma in 1993.

From there forward she has continued to advance herself taking many financial courses and achieving multiple industry related designations.

Jodi is presently working evenings on her economics degree at Algoma University.

In her spare time, Jodi loves to sit and read a great book at the cottage with her fiancé Kenny Dunn.

Jodi recently took up training and running – and just did her first run – 10 km, of course.

Why start small.
