Robbery at Mac's Mart on Queen Street East - update
On the 31st of August 2012 just after 2:30 a.m. officers from Patrol Services attended at the Mac’s Mart in the 2000 block of Queen Street East for a robbery.
Three male suspects had entered the store and quickly separated.
The lone male clerk was stocking shelves when he was approached and held by one of the suspects.
The clerk was assaulted by this suspect and received non-life threatening injuries.
The second male attended to the cash register area while the third suspect acted as a lookout.
The three suspects made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The OPP K-9 unit was called and quickly attended in the area.
It is believed that the suspects got into a vehicle that was in the area.
All three males were wearing dark clothing and covered their faces and heads.
One of the suspects was wearing a black balaclava.
