Dano and Bradley don`t have solid grasp of probation conditions

On the 30th of August, members of the Sault Ste Marie Police Service Street Team conducted a traffic stop of a motor vehicle on Pine Street and located a set of brass knuckles within the vehicle.
A further search of the vehicle also revealed a quantity of cocaine, oxycodone tablets, two digital scales and a large bundle of cash.
As a result, 20 year old Dano Ruttan and 20 year old Bradley Jackson were arrested for possession of a prohibited substance and possession of a prohibited weapon.
At the time of the offences, both males were out on release orders with conditions to abstain from the possession of drugs or drug paraphernalia and not to possess prohibited weapons.
As a result, both males were charged with breach of recognizance and breach of probation.
Ruttan and Jackson will appear in bail court on the 31st of August.

Head-butting domestic dispute
On the 30th of August police responded to a domestic dispute at an apartment complex in the west end of the city.
It is alleged the two parties began arguing about bills and when one went to call 911 the other ripped the phone cord out of the wall, damaging the cord.
Also, it is alleged that when the victim was sitting on the couch, the accused head butted her, pushing her face back and punched her on the right side of her face.
As a result a 45 year old female was arrested and charged with assault and mischief and will appear in bail court on August 31st.
