Friday, August 17, 2012 by: SooToday.com Staff
Readers are reporting a house fire to a multi-unit dwelling located on the corner of Letcher and Metzger Street his afternoon.
One loyal reader tells SooToday.com that the fire happened about 2:30 p.m.
Another said no one was injured but the damage to the building was extensive.
From the photographs submitted by loyal SooToday.com reader Caroline Rose, it would appear the fire gutted most of the inside and consumed a portion of the roof of the building.

thera 8/18/2012 7:24:48 PM ReportWell, I think it's more the police that enforce burning laws (because they are still laws), but yes, it is nice to know that our men and women in the fire department are rarely tested, but their skills are still excellent!
Alken 8/18/2012 11:25:16 PM ReportPicture after picture taken from the same spot. I gave up after #5. Doesn't sootoday have an editor?
Stevie-E 8/20/2012 10:14:01 AM ReportWell given the circumstances, and the fact that allowing a photographer on the set of a blaze of that size was not top priority, I thought the pics were fine.
