Darren breaks out in a rash of bad ideas

On the 11 August 2012 City Police responded to an erratic driver complaint in the downtown area.
Police located the vehicle in a parking lot and the driver was spoken to at a local downtown tavern.
The driver was found to be intoxicated and the police warned him to take a cab or get a ride home.
In fact, the police called a cab for the man.
The man waited until he thought police had left the area and got into his vehicle and attempted to drive away.
Arrested for impaired operation of a motor vehicle, consuming over the legal limit and resisting arrest is Darren Duane Wilson (age 45).
His vehicle was impounded and he will be appearing in court on September 10, 2012.

Just what does it take to drive this home that drinking and driving is a no no. There have been countless ads infomercials and it just does not sink home. Prehaps some pain would do the trick, like "six of the best" after spending the night in the drunk tank and a court appearence the next day, none of this waiting about for justice..

geterdun 8/12/2012 2:44:35 PM ReportWhat they should do is bring them all down to the bondar place on Saturdays around noon hour ....Have them remove their clothes and whip them with a horse whip until they are bleeding and begging for their lives....when they have had a enough throw them right in the river and if they can swim to shore so be it they make it if not to bad.........The reason people continue to drink and drive is because the courts,JUDGES dont give the right punishments..people know that they will get off and will be right back at it as soon as possible...... Putting in jail for a month is just not the cure they should consider other punishments ones that they will never forget.....
