ENVIRONMENT CANADA HAS UPDATED A SEVERE WEATHER BULLETIN FOR NORTHERN ONTARIO AT 1:01 PM EDT MONDAY 6 AUGUST 2012.

A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH IS ISSUED FOR WAWA - PUKASKWA PARK AND WHITE RIVER - DUBREUILVILLE.

SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS POSSIBLE THIS AFTERNOON AND THIS EVENING.

THIS IS AN ALERT TO THE POTENTIAL DEVELOPMENT OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WITH LARGE HAIL, DAMAGING WINDS OR HEAVY RAINFALL..MONITOR WEATHER CONDITIONS AND LISTEN FOR UPDATED BULLETINS.

CONDITIONS ARE FAVOURABLE FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS BEGINNING THIS AFTERNOON AHEAD OF A COLD FRONT. SOME OF THESE THUNDERSTORMS COULD BECOME SEVERE WITH LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WIND GUSTS. TORRENTIAL DOWNPOURS AND FREQUENT LIGHTNING ARE ALSO A THREAT.
