Open air burning ban reminder

Monday, July 30, 2012   by: SooToday.com Staff

NEWS RELEASE

MUNICIPALITY OF
HURON SHORES

****************************
The Huron Shores Fire Department would like to remind the public that the municipal fire ban imposed July 5, 2012, remains in effect.

No open air burning (bonfires, burning of grass and brush) and no fireworks are permitted.

During a municipal fire ban, small, contained campfires are permitted for cooking and/or warmth.

However due to the dangerously dry conditions, the Fire Department requests that residents also refrain from this activity.

The municipal fire ban will remain in full force until further notice.

If you see a forest fire, call 911 or 310-FIRE (3473) immediately.
