Fire on John Street (7 photos)

NEWS RELEASE

Police and Fire services responded to a report of a structure fire in the 100 block of John Street.  
 
A fire caused significant damage to an unoccupied residence.  
 
There were no injuries reported.  
 
The investigation is continuing.

A 58 year old male was arrested and charged with one count of theft.  It is alleged that the accused stole a cheque belonging to his estranged wife and cashed it. 
 
He will be appearing in court on Aug 27th. 
 
The name will not be released to protect the identity of the victim.

Ronald Marini of 306 Korah Rd was arrested and charged with two counts of break and enter and two counts of possession of break in instruments. 
 
It is alleged that on the 11th of July the accused broke into a business in the 100 block of Great Northern Road and used a sledge hammer to break into a safe. 
 
It is also alleged that on the 12th day of July he broke into a business in the 200 block of Second Line West and used a sledge hammer to break into the safe.  He will be going to bail court on July 30th.

Nice pictures of fire trucks and police cars but where's the fire? No smoke, no flames, no house; are you sure there was a fire?
