Rednecks take over Goulais River (15 photos)

Saturday, July 14, 2012   by: SooToday.com Staff

Loyal SooToday.com reader and Goulais Girl, Brenda Ostaff, sent us the following note and pictures of today's Community Day parade in Goulais River, Ontario.

*************************
Hello:

I thought your readers might enjoy the happenings at Goulais River this weekend.

The theme was "Rednecks" for this year's parade.

Following the parade, booths were set up in Captain Tilley Arena with bake tables, local crafts, and a beer tent.

A ball tournament that began this morning continues tomorrow.

There were singing contests, live entertainment and a "foam bath" for kids, compliments of the Goulais Fire and Rescue.
