I think this was needed due to the PUC being spread out all over the city. I used to live in many other cities and never seen a utility in separate buildings. Makes for some disorganization. Plus this new building has very many standardized conditions for green friendly and all that jazz. And last I heard the conditions of the old building weren't so good. Say the garage for vehicle storage in the winter, and where does the mechanic work? I don't think it was well insulated.
I'm all for the new building.

There's always a deeper reason to an issue. It may not be just as simple as you think. Try looking at it in deeper thought. It's not just all electricity and wires you know.
I'm pretty sure Sault Sainte Marie's water is one of the best qualities in the province. That chlorine taste? If you look at the facts online, did you know they actually reduced the amount of chlorine in the water? What makes it taste more chlorinated is ... Think of it this way. Salt, Sodium Chloride. But you don't really taste the chlorine in it do you? Same concept with the water, they had a chemical in it that hid the taste of chlorine. Now there's lack of that chemical. In my mind I think of it as ingesting less chemicals.
*Sip* Mmmmm, fresh pure tasting water.
mattdoubleU 7/13/2012 9:15:50 PM ReportKurPlunk - f**k off you must be on well water, or you're in bed with the p.u.c
KurPlunk 7/14/2012 1:09:58 AM ReportWhen the PUC does the flush of their pipes every so often and my water is brown due to the result of the sediment being stirred up, does that constitute not being on well water? If so than I'm not. I'm pretty sure I'm not anyways.
My wife is not employed by the PUC, and monogamy is the way to go.
mattdoubleU 7/14/2012 1:34:01 AM ReportShe's in bed with me, sorry about your luck
