When considering the use of a campfire, ensure adequate resources are available, and make certain your campfire is completely extinguished before leaving.

Make sure any residue from fireworks is completely extinguished, as any person who sets off fireworks is responsible if any hot residue results in a fire.

A person can be charged under the Forest Fire Prevention Act, and may be held responsible for the cost of putting a forest fire out.
