Senior public service jiggle a la Stephen Harper

Prime Minister Stephen Harper announces changes in the senior ranks of the public service

OTTAWA - Prime Minister Stephen Harper announced today the following changes in the senior ranks of the Public Service:

Pierre Legault, currently Assistant Deputy Minister of the Business and Regulatory Law Portfolio, Justice Canada, becomes Associate Deputy Minister of Justice, effective July 3, 2012.

Lori Sterling, currently Deputy Minister, Cabinet Office, Government of Ontario, becomes Associate Deputy Minister of Justice, effective July 30, 2012.

The Prime Minister took the opportunity to thank Yves Côté on the occasion of his retirement from the Public Service, noting his dedication and excellence in serving Canadians over the course of a 34-year career in the federal public service and the Canadian Armed Forces.
