Sault children reach out to Elliot Lake

Friday, June 29, 2012   by: SooToday.com Staff

SooToday.com received the following note and pictures of a classroom full of children who were so touched by the tragedy in Elliot Lake that they spent their last day of school doing what they could to help heal that community through their compassion.

Please post the following,

Elliot Lake in Our Thoughts

With the summer holidays upon us, Tarentorus students took time out of their day to reflect on the tragedy at the Elliot Lake Mall.

Cards were made and are being distributed to the residents in that community.

What a beautiful idea...and a perfect thing to do on the last day of school. Way to go kids (and teachers!).
