Friday Hot Shot

Friday, June 29, 2012   by: Donna Hopper

Allison Huot performs interpretive dance amongst the sculptures of Michael Burtch at the Art Gallery of Algoma last week as part of The Hinterbrane Project performance.

The local artist collective collaborated with filmmaker Dan Nystedt to produce a DVD which features the Burtch pieces currently on display at the gallery and original avant-garde music by the collective.

The DVD can be purchased at the Art Gallery of Algoma Gift Shop.

Burtch's exhibition, A Hinterbrane Project: Transient Phases III, will remain on display in the main gallery until July 22.
