On Wednesday, June 20, the Art Gallery of Algoma will celebrate the Summer Solsice and the marriage of music, dance and visual art as the local collective known as the Hinterbrane Project performs Transient Phases.
Comprised of musicians and artists, the Hinterbrane Project has become known for it's experimental music and dance, and this performance is centred around the sculptures of Michael Burtch, which are currently on display in the Gallery's main room.
As part of the evening's performance, Sault filmmaker Dan Nystedt will be debut his experimental film which showcases the music of the collective as well as Burtch's sculptures.
Copies of the DVD will be for sale Wednesday evening and afterwards in the Art Gallery of Algoma's Gift Shop.
Doors open at 8 p.m. and everyone is welcome to attend.
