Area fire ban in effect

HURON SHORES

The Huron Shores Fire Department has imposed a fire ban effective immediately, and until further notice for the Municipality of Huron Shores. 

All open air burning permits issued this season are invalid and no permits will be issued or renewed while the ban is in effect. 

Small, contained fires are permitted for cooking and/or warmth.

Always ensure that firefighting tools are nearby (i.e. water, shovels, etc.) and that the campfire is thoroughly extinguished before you leave the site. 

Never leave a fire unattended.
