International diamond buyers to host special event in Sault Ste. Marie from May 8 - May 12 buying gold, silver and diamonds

SAULT STE. MARIE, ON – Currently on a global tour, the Toronto Gold, Silver, and Diamond Buyers (TGSDB) will be making a stop in Sault Ste Marie, ON at the Comfort Suites & Conference Centre, located at 229 Great Northern Road, on Tuesday, May 8 through Saturday, May 12.

The show hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday.

The TGSDB will be purchasing coins, paper currency, gold and silver on behalf of their global network of collectors, dealers and refineries.

This special event is free and open to the public.

TGSDB spokesman Ron Smith says: “We hope to spend at least $200,000 while we are in town, purchasing people’s old coin collections, vintage bank notes and scrap gold, silver and diamonds. It’s been all over the news – gold and silver are trading at record highs – and people everywhere are scrambling to cash in. We buy a lot of class rings, mismatched earrings and broken necklaces. Just a small handful of gold can add up to hundreds of dollars very quickly.”

Smith continues: “Old coins are also very valuable. A rare 1893 Morgan silver dollar sold for a whopping $6 thousand in 2009. We recently paid $101,000 for a coin collection in F.L. and even $300 for a single penny in Ga. I encourage everyone to clean out their drawers, lock boxes, jewelry boxes and bring their items to our show for a free evaluation and perhaps walk out a little richer!”

Traveling from small towns to large cities, the TGSDB hosts hundreds of events each year where local residents are encouraged to bring in their precious metals, diamonds and paper money to earn extra cash.

While meeting one-on-one with each guest, the TGSDB specialists review, research and evaluate the items and will make an offer to purchase all gold coins, silver coins made before 1965 and paper money printed prior to 1934.

The amount of the offer depends on the silver or gold content, the collectability, the rarity and the condition of the items.

If the guest decides to accept the offer made, a check will be issued on the spot.

Parent company of TGSDB, THR & Associates has experienced explosive growth and accomplishment in the last few years.

Traveling the world seeking precious metals, antiques, and collectibles, THR & Associates is headquartered in Springfield, IL
