New in town - Central Drug Mart and Walk-in Clinic

The Central Drug Mart and Walk-in Clinic is a true walk-in clinic and it's open on Saturdays. That means patients don't have to be a member or have a doctor there. And the physicians there are not taking new patients.

The Central Drug Mart and Walk-in Clinic is a true walk-in clinic and it's open on Saturdays.

That means patients don't have to be a member or have a doctor there.

And the physicians there are not taking new patients.

But they are seeing patients on a first come - first served basis.

Yes, even on a Saturday.

Patients are reporting the walk-in clinic in the Market Mall is still closed and the Sault Care Walk-in Clinic fills up almost as soon as it opens at 8 a.m. from Monday to Friday.

For the few weeks that the Central Walk-in Clinic has been open it hasn't been very busy.

Yet.

But with the spring cold and flu season upon Saultites, things are bound to pick up soon.

It's located in the Pine Plaza by Food Basics at 701 Pine Street and open from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Friday and from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays.
