Opening Day for Root River Golf Club
Wednesday, April 11, 2012, will be a day for the record books at Root River Golf Club.
This will be the earliest opening day the golf club has seen in its nearly 70-year history.
“To my knowledge, the course has never opened before mid-April,” says course superintendent Richard Barsanti.
Root River Golf Club will open for the season at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 11 and Barsanti’s Restaurant will be open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
