Three months of hard work, rehearsals and team work paid off yesterday as Rosedale students in Grades 4, 5 and 6 presented the 6th annual Pied Lourd (Stomp) showcase at the Kiwanis Community Theatre Centre.

"We rehearsed three times a week, and a month before the show, rehearsals were every day," Lynne Vallee, the brains behind the event, told SooToday.com.

The performance features 38 'stompers' in a variety of numbers that explore synchronized movement and industrial instrumentation.

The bold and lively show continues today with two upcoming performances at 1 and 7 p.m.

Everyone is welcome to attend.

Admission is by donation and all proceeds go to support future Pied Lourd performances.
