•••••••••••••••••••••••••

The new Sault Ste. Marie Chapter of PFLAG (Parents & Friends of Lesbians and Gays) announces its first monthly meeting for Tuesday, March 20, at 7:30 p.m.

The meeting will take place at Grand Gardens (downstairs meeting room), 68 Dennis Street, Sault Ste. Marie, ON.

All parents, friends, and lesbian, gay, transgender, 2-spirited, and questioning (LGBT2SQ) youth are welcome.

PFLAG Canada is a national organization that helps all Canadians who are struggling with issues of sexual orientation and gender identity.

PFLAG Canada supports, educates, and provides resources to parents, families, friends, and LGBT2SQ youth with questions or concerns about issues pertaining to sexual orientation or gender identity.

PFLAG Canada was founded by parents who wished to help themselves and their family members understand and accept their LGBT2SQ children.

PFLAG-SSM is a volunteer group for parents, young adults, and anyone looking for information on issues of sexual orientation and gender identity.

Our goal is to promote understanding, self acceptance, community acceptance, and friendship.

Monthly meetings will be held on the third Tuesday of each month at Grand Gardens at 7:30 p.m.

Free parking is available adjacent to Grand Gardens.

Discussions are confidential.

Each meeting will focus on a different topic.

Self-realization, prior to coming out, will be discussed at our first meeting.
