Sault Ste. Marie O.P.P. with the assistance of Sault Ste. Marie Search and Rescue, Goulais River First Response and Searchmont Fire and Rescue located 65-year-old, Wayne Wilkins just before 5 a.m. this date.
Wilkins was located and transported to hospital with hypothermic symptoms.

Search for missing snowmobiler
Searchmont Area
(HODGINS Twp., ON) – Sault Ste. Marie OPP were called at 7 p.m. this evening regarding an overdue snowmobiler in the Searchmont area.
A 65-year-old male, Wayne Wilkins of Pineshores Road in Goulais River, was last seen leaving the Searchmont Trading Post on a snowmachine at 1:30 p.m. this afternoon.
OPP, Sault Search and Rescue, Goulais River First Response, and Searchmont Fire and Rescue are currently searching the area.
Mr. Wilkins is described as 5 feet 10 inches in height, approximately 200 lbs with grey/brown hair and blue eyes.
He was wearing a green and black snowsuit and was driving a 2009 Arctic cat T500 green and black snowmachine.
Mr. Wilkins has a medical condition that would cause concern for his safety.
