Police discover marijuana grow operation

Officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Street Team arrested 25 year-old Lynn Macdonald of #1-320 Pim Street on the 13_^th of February and charged her with one count of production of a controlled drug or substance and one count of possession for the purpose of trafficking in a controlled drug or substance.  

It is alleged that when officers were conducting an investigation at the residence of the accused yesterday, they discovered a marijuana grow.

Officers seized 13 marijuana plants from a two stage grow operation, 2 grams of marijuana ,23 grams of marijuana shake, lights, fans, plant food and timers.

Total value of the drugs seized was $13,043.00.

The accused is to appear in court on the 19_^th of March.
