Charges against Carmelo Cuglietta dismissed, no child porn found

In April of last year, City Police reported that Carmelo Cuglietta, age 45,was charged with possession of child pornography and making available child pornography when police executed search warrants at his residence and seized various computers.

In April of last year, City Police reported that Carmelo Cuglietta, age 45,was charged with possession of child pornography and making available child pornography when police executed search warrants at his residence and seized various computers.

After extensive forensic testing it was found that Mr. Cuglietta was not in possesion, nor was there evidence that he accessed, or made child pornography available.

"Mr. Cuglietta used an open access wireless internet connection with no password protection," Michael Lacy, council for Cuglietta, told SooToday.com.

All charges against Mr. Cuglietta were withdrawn by the Crown on Monday.
