'We' are Drew and Vivian Kendrick.

We're writing from Yuma Arizona where we have taken up residence for the winter months.

Originally from the Soo, we have called British Columbia our home since leaving in 1976 when Drew accepted a position with BC Hydro.

After many years of living in the Peace River area in north eastern BC, we retired and moved to the Okanagan valley.

We choose "the Okanagan", in part because of the many friends who live there, but also because of the wonderful weather.

There are however still a few months of winter in the Okanagan, so we thought we'd try the "snowbird" life in Arizona.

Life is good!

Our three children, Vicky, Andrew (Drew) and Teresa (TerryAnn) are all doing very well.

Vicky is married and lives in Spruce Grove Alberta with husband Chris.

Andrew has given us 4 beautiful grandchildren, three boys and a new little sister last month.

He and wife Heidi are raising their young family on Vancouver Island where he works for BC Hydro.

Teresa is presently back in school and doing extremely well in an LPN program she is enrolled in, in Kelowna.

She graduates next September and will be looking for work in the Okanagan Valley.

We'd like to wish all our relatives and many friends in the Soo a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

No matter how long we've been away or how long it's been since we've seen friends and family, the "Soo" will always be home to us.

We would also like to thank the SooToday.com for offering us the opportunity to extend our seasons greetings to everyone.

Andrew and Vivian Kendrick
