Though there is snow in the forecast in Sault Ste. Marie leading up to Christmas, there just won’t be a lot of it.

Area forecasts have the area seeing snow over the next couple of days with cooler temperatures, though early next week, the temperatures are expected to jump back up above the freezing mark.

The lack of snow has some around town happy though there are many Saultites who are hoping to have a white Christmas.

Those citizens will get their wish though the amount of snow around town is certainly less than what we have grown accustomed to over the years.
