WINTER WEATHER WATCH

ENVIRONMENT CANADA

*************************

Environment Canada has issued the following snow squall watch for Agawa - Lake Superior Park - Wawa - Pukaskwa Park - White River - Dubreuilville - Marathon - Schreiber:

Cold southwest winds over the relatively warm waters of Lake Superior will create favourable conditions for the development of snow squalls.

Snow squalls will develop late this afternoon and affect the north shore of Lake Superior.

Winds will shift slightly to more westerly this evening, bringing the snow squalls into regions east of Lake Superior.

Snow amounts of 15 cm are expected before the snow squalls end Wednesday morning.

Reduced visibilities in snow will make for hazardous driving conditions.
