Hospital patient's belongings go missing. Woman faces charges

At 3:50 a.m. on November 29, 2015 City Police arrested 41-year-old Karen Kathleen Swanson of Towers St. Sault Ste Marie.

It’s alleged that the accused was at the hospital and was apprehended by security for stealing from other patients.

The accused was charged with two counts of theft under $5,000, one count of possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000 and one count of breach of probation.

She will be appearing in court on January 4, 2016.
