Community Endowment Fund congratulates those guys with bare legs

The Community Endowment Fund extends congratulations to the 49th Field Regiment Pipes & Drums, known as the Soo Pipe Band on the occasion of their 100th Anniversary. 

We are honoured to have supported their organization with a grant to assist them in leveraging the funds needed to refurbish their uniforms.

The Soo Pipe Band plays a major cultural role in our community and in representing Sault Ste. Marie across Ontario and into Michigan. 

The Community Endowment Fund was established in 1988 to support the overall community with capital funding and one-time emergency assistance.

We have committed to provide funding from our investment income to worthy community projects in the social services, education, sports, arts and health care sectors.
