November 16-22, 2015 has been declared the first annual Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) in Sault Ste. Marie. 

To commemorate the importance of entrepreneurship locally and around the globe, YouLaunch (Sault Ste. Marie Innovation Centre’s Youth Entrepreneur Program) in partnership with community partners will host a series of events.

Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) is a celebration of innovators and job creators who launch start-ups that bring ideas to life, drive economic growth and benefit human welfare.

During one week each November, GEW inspires people everywhere through local, national and global activities designed to help them explore their potential as self-starters and innovators.

GEW is not just for start-ups; it’s for anyone wanting to create change and make a difference. 

Algoma community members can network and discover their inner innovator.

November 17: Financial Literacy and Planning. Great Lakes Honda Boardroom at 5pm. Free. Registration is required.
