Maitland Ford is bringing Ford Motor Company of Canada Ltd.’s innovative Drive 4 UR Community program to the Sault area on Saturday, June 13, 2015 in an effort to raise funds for the Sault Ste. Marie Aquatics Club (SSMAC).

For every person who test drives a Ford vehicle, Ford Motor Company of Canada will donate $20 that will go to SSMAC operations and equipment.

“We’re proud to support the Sault Ste. Marie Aquatics Club in their efforts to fundraise and continue their programs,” said Brent Lewis, general manager, Maitland Ford. “Not only is the Drive program a chance to give back to our community, but it allows us the opportunity to showcase Ford of Canada’s high-quality vehicles and innovative safety technologies to parents, teenagers and other drivers.”

The Sault Ste. Marie Aquatics Club could fundraise up to $6,000 with the help of Maitland Ford.

In addition to the test-drives, there will be a bake sale and car wash.

Since the start of Ford’s Drive 4 UR School and Community programs in 2010, the programs have generated more than $3 million in donations for schools and charities in Canada.
