Finnish Resthome Christmas fundraisers

ONTARIO FINNISH RESTHOME FOUNDATION

The Ontario Finnish Resthome Foundation (OFRF) is making Christmas shopping a little easier this year. 

“The OFRF understands that finding new and unique Christmas presents are always a challenge. This year we have introduced a number of fundraising items that are sure to be a hit.”

The community has come together again and generously donated items and services that has enabled OFRF to develop 3 wonderful fundraising opportunities.

Because of these donations, 100 percent of all the sales of these fundraising items will go directly back to OFRA and its residents.

These Items Include:

The Ontario Finnish Resthome Association Christmas Raffle

Prize #1:   Fully furnished, locally handmade Dollhouse
Prize #2:   A Queen size Alpaca Duvet
Prize #3:   An Original Doug Hook Limited Edition Print
Prize #4:   Hand-crafted Finnish Style White & Blue Rug

Tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20. 

The Draw date is Wednesday, December 16 at 2 p.m. at 725 North St. Licence #M763520.

All proceeds will go to directly benefit the Residents here at OFRA

OFRA in the Community 2016 Calendars

Experience highlights of OFRA’s most memorable events and activities as residents visit events and activities in and around the Community. 

All proceeds of this 13 month, 2016 calendar will go towards the Uusi Koti – New Home for Seniors Independent Living Building. These high-quality calendars are $20 each.

Recipes from Ontario Finnish Resthome Families

This timeless collection of family recipes is filled with the dishes and desserts that you have grown up with and that you have been trying to get a hold of for years. 

This multi-cultural cookbook demonstrates the diversity that is OFRA and will stay part of your family for years to come.

These cookbooks are only $18 each and all the proceeds will go towards the Foundation.

All items can be purchased at the 725 North Street from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

They will also be available at the Station Mall on December 4 and 5 from 9:30 to 7 p.m. and on December 6 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
