Thursday, March 10, 2011   by: SooToday.com StaffBoth the Algoma District School Board's Isabel Fletcher Public School and the Huron-Superior Catholic District School Board's St. Mary's French Immersion School took part in the Great Big Crunch today.

The Great Big Crunch, developed by FoodShare, is a program aimed at promoting healthy eating habits and local food systems.

Tens of thousands of students across the province took part in the Big Crunch at 2:30 p.m. today by biting into an Ontario apple at the same time. ///
