Good day one and all,be carefuldriving as the flies are moving the animals onto the roads.
mallet 5/29/2014 11:49:57 AM Report

Morning All..

Once more a beautiful day in the neighbourhood..Blue skies and just a gentle breeze...

Haven't been bothered with flies, as yet, have no doubt as time goes by we shall but I am pretty cleared round the house. No close bush or anything like that.. Just a couple of hours max with the splitter today and that it, not as fast as I once was, age and aches and pains takes it's toll, my excuse and I am sticking with it!!!

You all have a great day and once more, don't forget the sun block, otherwise more rich doctors...
irishfey 5/29/2014 12:55:43 PM Report

Morning Friends... Beautiful day... Time to clean out the " garage ",, Boy is Hubby in for a surprise!.. One half will be his, the other mine ,lol.. I might have to draw a line and hang a sheet to seperate it, but my side will be in " order " :)... Wish me luck,, and Mallet.. I don't need any words from you like a Mans garage is his castle... If he keeps it clean, he can have my side back! ,lol.... Have a great day folks....
celeste5 5/29/2014 2:14:02 PM Report

Good afternoon everyone.

I rode my biked over 12km`s today,
I`m pretty tired, don`t have too much to say right now,
just, I wish I was forty, LOL.

bounder 5/29/2014 2:15:50 PM Report

Irish my garage and everything in it is out of bounds, for everyone, don't see meddling in the makeup department at all.
irishfey 5/29/2014 4:12:46 PM Report

bounder... When i lived alone I loved to " putter " and i was more handy with a hammer and nail than with a sewing machine... I made a deck, picnic table, dog pen, put up a fence, etc. etc. ... So when i feel the need to do something on my own I like to know where the #$((*&*))^#$$#@%:^^%&* things are!! lol.. I had my own tool box with everything i needed and now it's all clumped together in with his mess... Oh, we're having a great old time today and i made a little corner in the garage for him to sleep tonight :) :).. as i can't find the right shovel to dig a hole for the body i might have to bury ,lol,lol.... Later.. I might need bail money..... :).... And as the makeup goes... I was told years ago that i didn't need to wear that as i was pretty without it,, hah!! That just meant more beer $$ for him.. took me awhile to catch on, but i did.... MEN!!!! ,lol
mallet 5/29/2014 5:13:23 PM Report

You move too much of hubby's stuff and he might need to use the shovel and perhaps the bail money. My wife has her own little tap hammer for putting up picture hangers but otherwise she leaves my tools alone, especially after she broke her finger using a drill with wool gloves on, and didn't let go of the drill's trigger switch.... blondes.... well she was then .. a little greyer now...

Bounder ..
Finished the wood and the blackflies are stating to hatch out, no wind and they are starting to annoy.

Hope you are not riding on the Hiway.. I remember Status once rode out to my place Havilland shores drive was okay he said, but he was not keen on becoming the mascot on the front of a mack truck, although he does resemble one... ha ha..

That`s funny,
you know that guy reads in this room.
celeste5 5/29/2014 6:12:56 PM Report

You are aware that Status reads in,
the Red Room,
and sometimes teases us,
but that was funny, so, Ha Ha.

irishfey 5/29/2014 6:14:47 PM Report

Mallet... The only thing i have left outa my tool box IS my little tap hammer!.. I ask " where are the finishing nails?".. Reply.. " in my toolbox ".. Yeh, right!.. So i hace to dig through mounds of "whatnot" to find a few little nails ,lol... He wouldn't dream of doing away with me as then he would have to COOK!! :).. He just has no organizing ( sp ?) skills what so ever, so that's where i have to come in.... All is ok now, I have supper cooking and the " Hockey" Game is on at 7, so neither of us need bail money... tomorrow is a different day so we'll just have to wait and see ,lol.....Question.... Why can't Men use a hammer anymore??? Everything has to be electric,, drills, saws etc... When i did all my work years back i used a HANDSAW!... Later......p.s ... I used to be blonde too ,lol
irishfey 5/29/2014 6:15:46 PM Report

not " hace," should be .. have, sorry Spelly :)
celeste5 5/29/2014 6:16:02 PM Report

Looks like, I`m still tired.
irishfey 5/29/2014 7:32:43 PM Report

Celeste.. You should be tired. I tried to do a bit of rideing but my knee still hurts a wee bit ( the one i had replaced )when turning over the peddle. I kinda , sorta, :), laxed off of my exercises, so i guess i should get back to them. I hear that those exercises are a lifelong doing to keep the knee in working order.... Ohhh to be 40 again!!! Good luck to your Niece and her team, hope they do well.... And don't worry about Stats, he can take it as well as he gives it out ,lol... Shhhh,, don't tell Mallet or bounder but i think "i" had a wee bit more junk in the garage than i thought i did ,lol... Put the body to bed and rest as I'm going to do now,,, I'm proud that you're doing the bike, it's good for your health. Hubby has his nose in the game and his tummy is full so he's happy now, and my book is calling me so... Nighty night,,, and God bless.....
irishfey 5/29/2014 7:38:39 PM Report

Oops, I spelt .. "riding" wrong.... Sure hope Spelly is off today... If you're here Spelly,, I'm just testing you , hee hee.....

Can anyone tell me who is doing warranty work these days for Sears? For a riding mower?
I called sears "local" number but it turned out to be in Toronto. They took my contact details and said the local contractor would call within two days. Still waiting; be nice to be able to call him direct!

I am not sure, but have you tried calling the local store. They now have a little parts section set up there in the tools section. I don't see this downsizing of these places as a great idea myself, they were built on service and that seems to have gone out the window now. Parts come from Monteal for most power tools, snowblowers tractors and attachments. I do not think I shall ever buy anythings else from Sears...
celeste5 5/29/2014 9:17:58 PM Report

Did you call Sears on White Oak Drive.
mallet 5/29/2014 9:20:27 PM Report

Ah, I see, problem is for my wife, I can cook for myself, and look after myself. Too many moons in the services and working in out of the way places, so had to do all the nasty things like wash clothing, darn socks, sweep the floors or vacuum, make beds, oh it was soooooo hard to do those shocking things we men expect you ladies to do, while we do the things we have to to keep you in the custon you were accustomed too... big grin BIG GRIN...
mallet 5/29/2014 9:21:35 PM Report

They are not there anymore. The parts dept closed before Christmas last year...
