Good Morning all.. I could have posted this at 2am! I wonder what it would feel like to actually sleep throughout the whole night, i envy those that can...... Celeste.. do you sleep well? Have any ideas that might help me? I find it"s always a pain of some sort that wakes me up during the night. Pain in my leg, pain in my back,, always something. Sometimes my ears even hurt on my pillow????.. Oh well, i didn"t mean to complain to you all so early this morning, sorry.... The posts in here and the Blue Room and been great the past few days, i hope it continues. Anyway.. time to rise and shine and enjoy the day whatever comes. I will be having my nap sooner than i usually do and will cuddle my Buddy, he always seems to help me relax. Hope you all have a great day....

Morning People...

Pretty dull and grey out here but a little more breeze this morning..

Irishfey..
I have a little problem with sleeping, first I generally have to get up a couple of times to go pee and then have trouble getting back to sleep due to the tinnitus, as it goes those golden years turn out to be just brass...

Bobby N..

Nope, I didn't marry the wrong women, no-one else would put up with me...

My wife's and angel says one man to another, he replies I wish mine were but she's still alive...

After I married my wife I should have killed her.... I'd be out now...

Now you take my wife..... PLEASE...

Two men talking one says to the other how many time have you been married, other guy replies 4 times, first guy says congratulations, second guys says yes my first wife dies from eating poisoned mushrooms, my second wife died from eating poisoned mushrooms, my third wife dies from a broken neck, oh how come asks the first guy, she wouldn';t eat the poisoned mushrooms said the other guy!!!

You want any more Bobby.. you will have to wait... I have to come to town for medical appts.

You all have a good day out there...

Good afternoon

Irishfey, I get between 7-8 hours every night.
If you don`t get enough sunlight you make your problem worst.
I told you before to open up your drapes and let the sun in, LOL.
I know you said you have a big picture window and everyone will see in, who cares.
Not getting enough sunlight affects your internal clock, and that means lack of sleep.
Get outside, sit in a sunny room and open those darn drapes.

Sorry it took so long to get back to you,
I had a Dentist Appointment, had a visit with a elderly lady, she`s funny,
I visit with her just about everyday.

Get some sun, later.

You`ll get use to having your drapes open, My husband didn`t like the drapes open, he would close them. I would open them, it was like that for a while, he gave up, LOL, anyway, after a while he would open them as soon as he got up in the morning.

I just looked out my window and what do I see ... SNOW! :(
irishfey 4/22/2014 4:48:32 PM Report

Ok.. Dr. C. .lol.. Yes i have a big window and they are open all day to let the sun in ( free heat) They do have the vertical blinds on them and a lot of sun comes in, plus with the woodstove, it just about drives me out of the front room, so i open the door too. We are in a position that we are so much in plain sight that we are also hidden, so i"m not worried about people seeing in. We do close the blinds at night. I do understand what you mean though. This winter i was always inside so i never really got to much real sun and fresh air, but i will do as you said,, it might help. I have been going out more lately with Buddy for his walks and i feel so much better after that so you must be right. I'm going to do the night time walks too, so that might help.. Thank you....

Lowla.. you are kidding right?? Where do you live??
irishfey 4/22/2014 5:56:11 PM Report

Just Curious.. Where are you???? We miss you!!!!
celeste5 4/22/2014 7:49:46 PM Report

Irishfey

Your body may produce less melatonin
a hormone that helps you sleep
and that`s why we need sunlight,
it helps nighttime melatonin levels increase,
and your sleeping patterns will improve.

I hope this info helps you and everyone else, Dr.C.

irishfey 4/23/2014 7:05:14 AM Report

Morning Friends... Dr.C. :).. I read your last post about melatonin, makes sense. I put a chair on the deck and am going to try and sit outside as much as possible. The ground is still too wet to do any yardwork , but i plan on spending as much time outside this summer as i can. My Hubby works outside all the time.. no wonder he sleeps so well... What i need to do is find that "balance" in my life.. make time for this.. make time for that.... I have to take Buddy for a haircut today, he loves the lady that grooms him. She sucks him up and he milks it for all it"s worth,lol.... I hope the sun comes out and you all enjoy the day....
