Bobby N..

No, I get the firewood because my wife likes to be all warm and cozy, and when mamas happy everyone is happy...

Where are you finding these schoolboy howlers?? I lost my book of them the day after I left school for good.. Urgh, they bring back the memories of the beatings and bullying.. I inflicted on other schoolboys...which generally ended up with me being caned!!! when I was the victim, I mean my fault some kid kept banging his face against my fist and calling another some freckled faced git, not my fault he had freckles on his face..

Yes Mallet, I understand which corner you're standing.

My wife, once liked a Lamp. We got it. Then a friend of mine asked me how could I keep such piece of decoration distaste and he understood my answer.

The Lamp doesn't talk. My wife yes, and loud.

mallet.. See.. i knew you were a " boxer " at heart. When one of my Grandsons was about four yrs. old, i had a friend of mine teach him how to box, kickbox and streetfight. He was being bullied at school and i wanted him to be able to defend himself. Bad move on Grannys part,lol.. He had more timeouts and days off due to him just "protecting" his friends as he would say. We had to really explain to him what the art of self defence was all about then all was ok, but he was never bullied again.... I see that crows have a special place in Bobbys heart. I seen a Special on t.v. about them and they are a very intelligent bird. They will sit and watch, and learn and copy from humans. It was a very interesting show......

" Sometimes i forget how to spell a word so i change the whole sentence to avoid it "".. lol, yep, that's me and a whole lot of other folks that have it... That"s my story and i"m sticken to it!!!! :)

Irishfey...

Sorry, but no, I do not believe in martial arts or any of those close combat ideas. It is very hard to clean the blood off your shoes or clothes if your are that close, besides which, I am very squeamish when it comes to blood, especially my own. While in the services we were taught close combat styles but the instructors use to tell us it was better to be further away and use the other things we carried besides knives and that sort of thing. Much better to stand further back and use a gun, dead heros are no good to anyone...
As Gen G Patton was supposed to have said, " better the other guy dies for his country than you for yours"...

Hi, that`s funny, it`s called brain fog and it`s common with fibromyagia.
There`s a host of conditions that cause this.

Menopause,
Underactive Thyroid
Diabetes
Iron Deficiency
Disturbed sleep

I have all these and I need 7-8 hours of sleep.
I changed my diet and that`s how I got the iron deficiency.
Last August I stopped drinking milk, eating yogurt and eating nuts twice a day.
It didn`t take long before I was feeling faint and sick, I just thought it was the Diabetes, LOL.
So, I started taking Iron pills and Vitamine B12, I was told my the pharmacist that it would take 2-3 months before I would see a difference, So, I put back those 3 foods and I felt fine within 3 weeks.
I was telling my daughter inlaw about it and she said those pills just go right through you.

See, I used the wrong word,
Meant, by , no nap today,
maybe a bit of brain fog, bye, bye.

Mallet... I do agree with you on some points but i really couldn"t have given my Grandson a gun ,lol.. I have always believed that folks should learn to defend themselves. I taught my kids and i slept better while they were out at night. I sure do agree with Gen Patten though!.... Celeste, thanks , all good things to know. I did try the Vit. B shot but didn"t feel any difference, but i only did it for a month as i didn"t want to drive to town in the Winter. Maby i will try again. I think that if i lost some of my weight and went outside more i might feel better.. I was house bunny all Winter ,lol... You all have a great night......And of course. God Bless :)
