Grump 4/15/2014 6:38:44 AM Report

Good morning everyone, fresh, damn snow out there. The swamp children were in fine form last evening. They dumbed things down to a level I have never seen before, including on this site. I must start stocking up on crow soon. When Harper gets his exit papers I'm going to feed his crew a few tons of it (daily). This will be a constant reminder to them of what dumb really is. Well duty calls, try to behave children, try not to talk stupid or folks will know there is something wrong with you. Have a great day all.
Just Curious 4/15/2014 7:08:52 AM Report

Something wrong with the National news page on Sootoday?? Hasn't changed in days..

Status, with no tax increase this year, that hole on Francis may be there for a long time. Infrastructure is gonna suffer bad from this decision. A minor tax increase could have fixed a few streets that need repairs. The Soo still hasn't recovered from the Fratezi years of no increases...
Mr. Poster 4/15/2014 7:20:21 AM Report

A non tax increase year is nice but...

I would rather see a "nominal" tax increase each year so that there is a bit of money to work on our roads. For instance that section of HURON street from Cathcart to Albert streets..do we really want tourists to drive through that forever?
bounder 4/15/2014 7:21:41 AM Report

Good day, sun, lets not forget, children are precious, adults not so much.
theprotector 4/15/2014 7:48:43 AM Report

oh dont let DP here that, he thinks we should live tax free
Wisenheimer 4/15/2014 8:37:15 AM Report

If Trudeau wins next time out, investors will need to tweak portfolios to reflect a more liberal environment.
If Conservatives are returned, Grump will need to be kept away from rope and sharp objects.
BIG BROTHER 4/15/2014 8:41:21 AM Report

Nice to see Shakey back in action last night.

This site can hardly take the loss of a poster who knows how to put a sentence together, without name calling, but, with, the masterful use of sarcasm.
Bobby Nerves 4/15/2014 9:28:17 AM Report

He can't find a disguise, like the other drunkard.

flyhawk25 4/15/2014 9:32:41 AM Report

BB...I agree. If you are fortunate enough to meet him you will be further impressed.
theprotector 4/15/2014 9:33:00 AM Report

LOL wisen you are so full of crap
Wisenheimer 4/15/2014 9:56:02 AM Report

Teeps .. good, well thought out response as usual, knucklehead.
Zing 4/15/2014 10:03:58 AM Report

What is this country becoming?

Mass stabbing in Calgary...sheesh. Five dead...one in custody.

mallet 4/15/2014 10:18:52 AM Report

Zing..

Yes, what is the country coming to, when this sort of thing happens. I have no idea what gets into youths heads today, maybe the lax justice system, the lax moral teachings, the drug culture, there does seem something wrong somewhere, and I feel sorry for the victims and their families...

On the other side of this coin though now if there was a Liberal government in power they would want to implement a National Knife Registry, at a cost of $5billion dollars which would have been better spent on finding answers as to why this sort of incident took place in the first place.
Zing 4/15/2014 10:34:52 AM Report

Mallet

There are many kinds of knives available if you wanted to kill someone...I am not going to register my Henckels kitchen knives.
I think the youth partied all day long and this was the result. Sad indeed.
theprotector 4/15/2014 10:52:58 AM Report

wisen you deserve much more a a response than that, be thankful you get what you get. I typically just clean the dog crap like you off my shoes...

mallet get with the program, no one really cares about why this stuff happens and even if they did find the cause no one would want to fix it because it would cost too much money and be labled as a "social program". And people or dog crap like wisen and rw would call it a "bleeding heart liberal program". So to keep them happy lets just lock everyone up and forget about the real problems. And forget the fact that it cost 10 fold to house people in prison than it does to properly rehab them.
Bobby Nerves 4/15/2014 11:56:45 AM Report

Fly, aren't you stretching the truth?

guestwho 4/15/2014 12:18:22 PM Report

Korah Rd. Raceway is now open for racing!!
If the cops radared that track we wouldn`t have any taxes to pay
flyhawk25 4/15/2014 1:04:14 PM Report

Bobby...about what?
right wing 4/15/2014 1:10:03 PM Report

flyhawk25

If you are talking about B.B. meeting shakespeare he did.
It was at the Wacky Wings summit on Lake St.
It was the same time that I met shakespeare as well.

flyhawk25 4/15/2014 1:24:30 PM Report

rw...thanks.I had forgotten but was thinking about lunch at another spot more recently.
right wing 4/15/2014 1:27:13 PM Report

You're welcome.
right wing 4/15/2014 1:28:16 PM Report

Read from the top but I don't have a clue what the "truth stretching" is about.

It's almost time for the grownups to comment now that they are finished working.
Not quite bath time for the children but give it a bit more time.
bounder 4/15/2014 5:48:02 PM Report

Fly
you have to realize that adults wipe the butts of children, not the other way around.
Puts a different perspective on it don't forget to wash your hands.
steelworker 4/15/2014 5:50:46 PM Report

fly: wanna come over and soap me up. Good clean fun. (soapy face)
steelworker 4/15/2014 5:56:59 PM Report

CBC News reporters are frothing at the mouth over the report from the RCMP that they are dropping the investigation into Nigel Wright. The "scandal" that never was. Also; barely a peep about young Trudeaus' impending legal imbroglio.
undecided 4/15/2014 6:20:02 PM Report

Na peep about Hudaks libel suit for a measley 2 mill either
lookaround 4/15/2014 6:30:11 PM Report

Nigel Wright paid Duffy off and WE all will not forget.
We have Duffy, Wallin and Brazeau as a lasting bad taste of Harpers Senate. I am not a fan of Trudeau. That being said when the vote counts he will win. What alternative is there? None
Hunter101 4/15/2014 6:44:23 PM Report

Zing, yeah I know right?!

We better ban guns, knives, cars, heavy hard objects, and sewing needles.

All kidding aside, it takes an event like this to prove that people need the ability to carry. Knives or guns, you pick.
bounder 4/15/2014 8:16:17 PM Report

I think the grups went to bed before the children, that's is going to happen sooner or later'
Grump,
better get back on here , entertainment is at it's lowest, don't blame the children we're all here I think.
Bobby Nerves 4/15/2014 8:30:22 PM Report

Hey bounder, not to worry, if you need someone to call you names, I can volunteer.

No much creativity here, but you know, it will always be better than my arguments with mallet.
bounder 4/15/2014 8:50:22 PM Report

Bn do you Google your responses, here is a tip for you, big announcement Thursday, may cost you a few more bucks.
Clue, and only one (MNO).
Call your friend and leader the big G, you need back up.
Bobby Nerves 4/15/2014 9:34:11 PM Report

The only thing that can cost more to me is natural gas!

Sorry bounder, I'll have to disappoint you. You know that my english is not exactly the sharpest one and something that may seem easy for a ten year old, it could be impossible for me.

But, You should get to know big G. He's a great guy, as are all the people in this bulletin board, but you know, we all like to appear bigger and braver; and if you ever accept to share a steak with us, you'll shake your head because you will never understand how this guy can go more dangerous than a monkey with a machine gun when he's here.

He's a Good Man with Capital letters.

But he also needs a punching bag, and you seem to be always hanging in the wrong hook. He heats you right, left and center, morning, siesta and after supper. You'll have to get some waist movement man.
Bobby Nerves 4/15/2014 9:52:21 PM Report

heats... should read hits instead.
BIG BROTHER 4/15/2014 9:57:17 PM Report

Whew....good thing Harper didn't fire Nigel, since he is innocent, as the RCMP investigation has found.

Oh...he did fire him. Well, after claiming that Nigel, and only Nigel, knew about the money given to Duffy, to cover his arse and hope he keeps his fat mouth shut, it sure didn't look too good for Nigel. His boss found him guilty before the RCMP even started their investigation. Ironic would be an understatement. I wonder if Nigel will write a book about how the world looks, from under a bus, with a back full of knives.
steelworker 4/15/2014 10:46:12 PM Report

Ya. Nigel and the Duffster can co-write a book about nothing. We are still waiting for the "bombshells" promised by the Libs and the NDP. If Harper hadn't of canned poor Nigel the opposition parties would be howling in phony indignation.
