Good morning everyone.

Irishfey, the movie was okay and yes it was one of Nora Robert`s book.

Bounder

I had my appointment with Dorothy, she said, I got a good slap in the face.

The weather is not nice here, just got back from my grandson`s Hockey Tournament, they won, Cool.
They play again tomorrow, hope they win.
The last tournament, they won three games in a row and lost the final, the whole team was upset.

Bounder

She said, I got a good slap in the face, that means, I didn`t do good, but she`s checking out one more thing for me and will phone me.

The slap may sting for 8 months.
Glad, I`m not a frilly gal.

Grrr Mornin'

Bounder.. it's that bobby N's fault.. He likes to see the snow, maybe he likes it to match his hair.... Yeah, blowing and drifting around here, just don't seem to be able to get ahead, it's like one step forward and then two backwards...I am thinking it will be well into summer before we see the last of the snow around here...

Lots of soccer on today.. London derby saw Chelsea thrash Arsenal 6 nothing, think that's Arsenal's hopes of the championship gone down in flames...My home town team is in a must win situation of they will be relegated down from the big boys, and lose out on a lot of money, I believe the TV money next season is worth about a billion pounds...

You all take care out there...

Cheese Soos! Mallet, ask no questions, get no lies. (That's as british as you can get)

Went down South to pick up few things I've ordered over the last two weeks and the weather is as brutal as it's here, and someone said to me that Spring was just down South.

Liars!

There is not such a thing as spring in the South, I'm just back from there.

Well, Mallet, you should be grateful and pay the dancers for a sunshine dance, because I'd warned you yesterday, weather is brutal, Mr. Winter lost the calendar and it's getting older and distracted, he can't find he's way back.

Be optimistic, there is light at the end of the tunnel and the only think you need is get there... before the snow covers it all.

Good luck, and I wish your snow removal equipment run out of gas.

Break a leg.

(Do you know the real meaning of break a leg? I guess you don't)

Bobby N.
Not being a thespian I can only guess, that it is the understudys wish for the leading actor... as is my wish for a certain person to take a long walk on a short pier! Now we have traded insults, let us both hope this inclement weather some breaks and we get some nice warm sunny weather for a change...
irishfey 3/22/2014 4:43:52 PM Report

Hi folks.. we just got home from town now.. hyw.17 east from Echo bay on was terrible in most parts,, whiteouts and drifting snow, and some parts of the hwy. looked like back roads, not plowed, but then some spots were ok,, glad to be home safe..... Tis heating pad time for me back and a wee nap ... later....

mallet: looks like Knawich is keeping its head above water. I am hoping for a little friendly rivalry next year so I hope they stay up there, as it looks like the Filbert Street crew are pretty well set to be there.
Bobby Nerves 3/22/2014 5:58:45 PM Report

Yes Mallet, it's exactly that.

I had a friend who is, I don't know the english word that will define him, but he is a bad luck charm.

Once, I ask him to help me with a renovation. When he arrived, he was impressed with a light fixture I had on the back of the house. He said, what a nice light fixture. We had to attach a new stairs leading up to the second floor, I build it and he was there to secure the stringers on the landing, side and hang from the top. This was 16 or 18 steps latter and we had it hanging ready for the bolts. I was underneath and I don't know why, he'd shake the whole thing and it felt like an ax, smashed the light fixture in 100 pieces and landed on an aluminum latter I had standing there. I still have the x latter and you can see the step all bent from the impact. He's a good man, but if he says: What a nice car! You better take public trans.
I'm very superstitious in that sense, extremely really. That's why I identify myself with the g00d luck thing and therefore understand the:Break a leg good wish.
In the same field, I didn't know about the superstition of the sailors about whistling when working in the theaters around the scaffolding. But must have some solid base.

In the weather side, the sun is really hot, cause the snow is melting in minutes here on the side of the building, then this is a matter of days and the old man is already incapacitated!

We need no more dancers. It's time for a celebration.

Oh, once I had a working Makita drill, still have it. George used it, and said, this drill is nice, very light, I like it. That was it, I never got it to work again. Replace the battery. No way. And still have int here.

How do you call those guys, they don't do it intentionally, you know, but when I salute him, we kiss each other as that's our tradition, but I make the horns with the left hand. Just in case.
mallet 3/22/2014 9:21:55 PM Report

Bobby N..

Simple, the word is ..JINX...(pronounced jinks) of course I much prefer the character played by Halle Berry, but that, another story, which would rival Status Quos' Darlene.

Shakespeare..
You mean Norwich (pronounced noridge), and yes they got a good result today, now only if they can keep it up, they will be safe. Lester (leicester) on the other hand seem pretty much assured of the Championship title and a chance to play with the big boys!!, and the money. TV money this coming year amounts to around the Billion Pound mark and to think the last time I went to see Norwich Play Leicester in the F A cup it cost me 4bob (20P) now you cannot get in under 25quid which is more than I used to make in a week at that time. However if we stay up we all start on zero points, so we all start equal...
