Good morning everyone.

Wow, it`s pretty cold out there,
Wind Chill -36.
Well, I think I`ll pass on going to the grocery store this morning.

Morning Celeste...

Yesss, pretty chilly out there this AM, for air temperature I have minus 27C on my weather station... however the sun is shining and it is a very gentle but cruel wind...

My old dog was not doing too well first thing this morning either, she is getting up there and because her being diabetic she was rather muddled, I think her BG was too low. A couple of shots of pancake syrup and she seemed to come around and settled down, ate the rest of her food and is lying down now...
Terrible thing, getting old, whether it be animal or human, especially when there are medical conditions, but at least I can do her a kindness when all else has gone. I shall be sad, she has been part of my life for the past 14 years, I just hope she lasts out until the ground will allow me to lay her to rest with her sister...

You all take care out there this morning....

That is very sad losing a family pet.
My sister lost her dog and cried about it for a long time.
I suggested she get another dog but she said she didn`t want to go through that again.

I lost my cat and in the winter and in the summer my husband put the Humming Bird Feeder right in the middle of the window, I`m like, don`t put it there, that darn cat will jump on me and scratch me up trying to get at the birds,
He`s like we don`t have a cat anymore, LOL.

I was listening to the radio about the Wind Chill, I guess I heard wrong.

Did you try my Spaghetti Sauce yet?

It has not come to that point yet, but I regret to say that it will be in the near future. She is not suffering pain at the moment but she is getting poorly, I would just like her to see out the winter so that I may bury her next to her sister who we lost 3 years ago. I have lost many pets over the years, and it is always a gut wrenching thing to endure, however that pain is a part of life and I would never be without a pet, one has been part of my life since I can remember.. I even brought one from England when we came to Canada. For that price he should have had the seat beside us, and he sure watered the flowers outside the Soo airport when we got here...

Not yet but I got something to warm it up while I'm fishing, warm up the innards on a cold day.

Good afternoon Red Roomies.
Sorry to hear about your dog mallet.
All pet lovers can relate to your predicament.
At least you have the option of burying your buddy nearby.
We have a regular pet cemetery on our place.
Even have made room for some friends' pets to be buried here but not going into the business.
I was out today and the windchill is making things very unpleasant.
Hubby has been busy shovelling the roofs of outbuildings.
It's been a real old fashioned winter so far. This too shall pass and we'll be swatting flies before you know it.

O.K. Mallet, call your dancers off, I throw in the towel. Enough snow and cold weather, you win. Cease and desist. LMAO

Ah Ha, got to you did I. Okay, will do, but it will take a day or two more to get them on the job... LOL...

Mallet... an hemorrhoid is not more than an irritated blood vessel.

I hope you experience it.

Please, make it extensible to your darn dancers.

Evening Friends... sorry to come on so late, but had a busy day and when the mood hits, i have to go with it..... Mallet... It warmed me heart to see the love you have for your furry friends. I meself have had a dog through every stage of my life and it is so very sad when we have to say goodbuy,,, for some folk it"s like losing a child [ almost ] I dearly hope that the Lord blesses you with a few more years with her, but am thankful that you are one of those folks that realize that when the time comes, we cannot just let them suffer and as hurtful as it is to to us , we have to do the right thing by them. I knew a folk that just refused to put her dog to sleep as it would cost a few $$ [ and she hsd $$ to spare ] so the poor thing just suffered.. we are no longer friends!... I have my Pal and he is 16 and i know his days are numbered, as us... but he is in no pain and acts like he"s 6 when he"s not sleeping which is quite a bit. I have always had large dogs and he is the first small one i have had so i treat him more like a baby, so i know that it will be a very sad day when his time comes. It"s good that you can bury her near you. Im thinking Creamation this time around as that way i will have his ashes and plan on putting them inside an old teddy i have that even resembles him, that way i can still snuggle the Teddy and know that my baby is inside,, i feel that it may ease my pain if i have him near, as he sleeps with me al the time.... Sometimes i think that God has goofed up when he gives us these precious babies for just a short time on Earth, but that"s not my call. My heart goes out to all that has lost this kind of family member as thats what they are.. our family! When the time comes, please remember that you have some great folk on here to ease your burden as we have all been through this. In the meantime.. give your old gal all the love and attention she deservers,, i know you will... Bless you my dear for having such a big and loving heart! When my baby goes, that will be it for this old gal, i will not get another, after i have had he best and as you age, the old ticker just can"t seem to handle any more losses,, it just gets too painful... I could change me mind but i don"t think so... Try and get some sleep as i know that it"s an upset to think on such things... The Lord giveth, and the Lord taketh away.... I for one beleive that, although it"s not Biblical.. that we will see our faithful friends again some day.. It"s what we do with them when we have them that counts.... night all xo
