Good morning folks. By the look of yesterday's postings it may be time to reinstate the WORDS OF THE WEEK. Have a good day all and spell well.

Spelly I agree and how about the folks that continually resort to name calling, insults and direct attacks on other posters.
Get them cleaned up , it's a disgrace.
By the way morning all.

Bounder you start the crappy remarks and don't like the responses? What kind of a whiny baby are you? Either grow up or smarten up, your call or to put it another way, man up or shut up.

Good morning everyone.

I spent a few hours with my two sisters and my nephew last night.
We played partners in the Card Game, Hand and Foot.

We grew up playing cards with my father, he taught us all the kids games, but most of us preferred the adult card games.

My sisters and I were playing, Euche, 500 Bid, Cribbage, Spades, King Pedro, Hearts, Whist, Canasta at a very young age, I think we were playing these games before the age of ten.
My dad loved that, especially when one of his regular players couldn`t make it over to play, he would ask one of us to sit and play, LOL.

We use to be bussed into the city for school and when the weather was bad, we would play these games and the teachers were SURPRISED we knew them.

My kids played card games and board games with us just about every night, they liked 500 Bid and Risk, Risk kepted us up late on the weekend.

My young neighbor would play with us. she was Italian and her parents were very strick, they didn`t let her go to far, but they didn`t mind her coming over and staying very late.

When my kids were teenagers they would get together with their friends and play, that`s when life got a litle boring, LOL, just kidding.

Morning Folks...

Well another day where it is still snowing lightly, however the wind has dropped away.

Have to get some firewood in and clear the snow away from the back door and that's about it. A trip to town tomorrow, maybe, but not much else to worry about, life is slow this time of year...

You all have a great day out there...

Hi Mallet, Food Basics on Pim St., or whatever the name of the Street, East of Crappy Tire, has a lot of Marmite.

Fortunately Shakespeare was kind enough to explain the particular attributes of the product. Interesting.

Can it be used as Preparation H? I know who may need a box or two, RMAOFL!

Well, if you have nothing else to do, you may drive over to my cave and we can clean the darn parking lot... I'd manicured it yesterday, just for the snow to lay flat on it all night.

Afternoon Friends.. Yes Spelly, i think you are needed again, i know i could use the help. Did you ever see the posts that come up on fb. that has a paragraph of all mispelled words and it says if you can read it, you"re [ ? ,lol ] smart?.. All it takes is to have the first and the last letter for a folk to be able to read it, and why are they so readable?.... Celeste.... funny you should bring up games... Hubby and meself were just talking about that last night and decided to bring out the checkers [ he always wins that one ] and the scrabble game that i win just because i cheat and start to make up weird names and tell him that they are out of the Bible and all he has to do is look them up and i know he won"t bother ,lol... Is a great way to spend the cold winter days and is healthy fun too. Some of the games you mentioned,, i never heard of, so next time in town i will check them out.... I also played " blackjack" with me Dad,, was fun...... Lots to do today so i best get started.... keep warm and safe folks...looks like more cold and snow ahead.. I too am getting kinda tired of it!..later...
