Good morning everyone.

In The Garden Of Thoughts

If you let go of the one who is always hurting you,
Life will make room for one who will always be loving you.

I was going to post that saying under the two Domestic Incidents, but changed my mind.

Morning Bobby, Celeste..

What a beautiful morning, sunny and the sun has some warmth on the skin, even if the air temperature is cold.

Did a trip into town yesterday, pick up groceries and meds, pharmacy "owes" me some Insulin and did not want to give me the strips "too soon" but I do not like this new meter, too many "error" messages..

Highway was clear and wet, no icy or snowpacked areas, some people would only be satisfies if they had a personal plow and sander in front of them wherever they went.

You all have a wonderful day out there... and thanks for the coffee Bobby... man cave finished now is it???
celeste5 1/15/2014 12:21:28 PM Report

I took my old Meter to the Pharmacy because I needed a new battery, they told me I needed a new Meter.
They gave me a Ultra Smart Meter and I have a lot of errors too.

I liked my old one better, Onetouch Ultra 2, the new has a bunch of crap on it.

What do they do with all the Meters that work just fine, just wasting money.
mallet 1/15/2014 2:20:31 PM Report

There has to be a reason, maybe more mark up on the newer strips. The reason they gave me was that I was the only person who used that type of meter/strips and 9 times out of ten they had to order the stips in and I had to get someone else to pick them up, I mean I am not going to run into town especially for that purpose and if I went in too early they would not dispense them. I am however seriously thinking of changing pharmacy's. The only reason I have stuck with them is that the insurer was not always keen on the other places and gave me a hard time making me pay up front then re inbursing me. This place just makes me pay the deductable.. 35cents. per prescription...

Those other two jars of stew were recently made, did you try them yet?
bounder 1/15/2014 5:24:32 PM Report

I'm trying to stick to my diet , but I did try one and very good, took two days to eat , usually would have done that in one meal.
I can deliver the goods tomorrow around
4pm if that's good for you.

Evening Friends.. I am so sorry to have just dissappeared,, did not mean to. Seems my Psoriasis has decided to come back in full blossem on my hands and with that comes depression. It hurts like heck , even to type, with what seems like hundreds of papercuts on my fingers... and with the depression comes the attitude of.. " i"m not in the mood "" so i don"t do it. I"m sure you all understand this as some of you deal with this also. I seen Dr. S. on Sunday and he gave me the pills and the cream that worked the last time.. God bless that Man as i don"t have the coverage for them,, also i"m going to try the dark beer that one of you suggested.... Hope you are all doing well and that i was missed just a wee bit ,lol... What is with all the coffee icons on here ? ,lol.... Later xo

Nice to see your post and you were missed,
I like the way you talk, especially when the Irish comes out in you.

I was going to post as why you and Seriously have been MIA, LOL.
irishfey 1/15/2014 5:53:58 PM Report

Celeste.. Thank you for the kind words... The Irish only seems to come out when i"m a wee pissed off, lol, and after seeing what Spelly is up against in the Blue Room, dealing with the headers [ mentally unstable folk ] ,lol,, They are lucky that i can"t type well due to me hands or they would surely get an earfull!! I will be posting them a question tomorrow that might jest prove a little interesting, so be sure to check in there... and yes,, it"s a "God" question ,lol.. I hope that wee Grandson of yours is scoreing big time!.. Gotta go and try and make supper.. gee, i don"t even like to touch anything with me hands like this!!... Have a blessed night...

I looked up some info for you in my Fork Remedy Book about Psoriasis, you may have tried these already.

Chill Out, LOL, stress aggravates it.
Fish oil supplements improve the symtoms,
And Evening Prim Rose supplements may help to relieve your skin disorder.
The fatty acids in these products protect your skin and fight inflamation, ask your Doctor about these.
Try Aloe Vera to moisturize your skin and bath products that contain oats to soothe the skin.

Since your`re old, LOL, try Coal Tar, ask your Doc about that, it`s an old remedy.

I can understand your feelings of anger, sadness and depression, my husband has it, when he was stressed he broke out more.

Psoriatic Arthritis causes joint pain, swelling and stiffness.
Exercise helps, rest and heat and cold relieves pain and reduces swelling.

You probably know all this, right.

Irish Fey..

I see someone called you old, okay well you must remember the old "cod liver oil" for fish suppliments. My old man had a special lotion for his skin complaint, I cant ask him without a seance now but its was industrial spirt, rosewater and I can't remember the other ingrediant. As for the guy, Art Ritus, I can only suggest one of the modern pain creams A535 or similar without the smell(if poss and taste) if you cooking. And now you know where sympathy lies, in the dictionary right between S... and S......!! just trying to raise the depression...
irishfey 1/15/2014 8:32:27 PM Report

Celeste.. I hope your Hubby has his under control. I feel for him. My Sisters Hubby has it also and it drives her nuts just to see him scratch ,lol... night
